Sulfamic Acid Lab Grade from Lab Alley has a high quality and contains 98% purity; therefore, its levels of impurities are not excessive; It is considered pure enough and suitable for use in many laboratory and analytical applications. Sulfamic Acid is a white crystalline powder; it melts at 305°C and is stable up to 260°C at room temperature with no need for any other accommodations; it is soluble in Water, Dimethylformamide, and Dimethyl Sulfoxide but insoluble in Alcohol and Acetone and, like most other amides, is non-hygroscopic. It is composed of Urea and Fuming Sulfuric Acid.Sulfamic Acid Lab Grade can be utilized mainly as a cleaning agent for boiler water and evaporation systems in the food, beverage, and chemical industries, to produce sulfamates, and as a mild nitrating agent (in the presence of strong acids).
