crystals or powder depending on purity. It is insoluble in Water and Alcohol at ambient conditions.
It is commonly synthesized by the reaction of Silica Sand with Coke or Anthracite Coal at high
temperatures. It can also be manufactured by heating Coke and Sand in an electric furnace. Lab
