It is a strong base that comes in pellets, flakes, and powders. In chemical, industrial, and manufacturing processes, it has a wide range of applications. Potassium Hydroxide 40% solution is made up of 40% KOH and 60% deionized water.Chemically pure or Laboratory reagents are other terms for Lab Grade chemicals. Lab Grade chemicals, despite their acceptable purity, do not meet any recognized quality or purity requirements, such as the ACS Grade, USP Grade, or FCC Grade.
