Malic Acid, also known as DL-Malic Acid, 2-Hydroxysuccinic Acid has the chemical formula C4H6O5. It appears as a colorless to nearly white triclinic crystals. It has a characteristic odor with a sour taste. It is highly soluble in Ethanol, Methanol, Ether, and Acetone.
